Sample DIEP Flap Patient 2 Before and After

| 39 year old female who had modified radical mastectomies that were initially reconstructed with expanders and implants. She developed infections and had the implants removed. Subsequently, she underwent radiation therapy. The patient had bilateral breast reconstructions using the DIEP flap. Photos are prior to nipple areolar reconstruction. No evidence of abdominal bulges or hernias at 6 months. |  |
