Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. Gary Rosenbaum has
dual board certification in Plastic Surgery as well as General Surgery. He
completed a full general surgery training in Miami at
Mount Sinai
Medical Center in 1994. Following his General Surgery training Dr. Rosenbaum
studied Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Louisiana State University in New
Orleans. The diverse training that Dr. Rosenbaum received in cosmetic and
reconstructive surgery is unique. He remained at Louisiana State University as a
full time Clinical Instructor until he returned to Miami in 1997.
Dr. Rosenbaum has traveled to Asia to operate on needy children as well as lecture to doctors on new surgical techniques. He has published numerous scientific papers and as well as contributed to text in medical books. Dr. Rosenbaum is a member of many societies and groups, which include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Medical Association, as well as local societies in Florida. He is also on the Volunteer Clinical Faculty of the University of Miami Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
